also the weights are far too close to the handle. when you start going heavy and use larger plate your legs are going to be hitting the weights and getting beat up and causing you to fumble. It would be better to slide the weight out to the end of the bar and put a stopper on either side. However I think in correcting one issue you will be creating another as once the loads increase there will be too much flex in the bar.
Your going to have a couple issues with these if you intend to go heavy with them at all. The pick up is very low, like lower than a floor deadlift with Olympic plate. Usually farmers handles are much higher and the pick would be more like a heavy rack pull with the handles close to knee height/slightly below the knee. Not sure how you would correct this issue without making new handles that are much higher.
