Lorikeet at the Denver Zoo

This is a short video of Rod, a lorikeet at my local zoo who is my good friend. No sound, because the original clips are absolutely saturated with baby talk.

Isn't he cute, though? He usually comes down to say hello to me when I go to visit. In this video, he was standing approximately five inches from my face and chirping at me.

Zoos are fun. But in general, you shouldn't eat the food. Unless you are at the zoo this video was taken at, in which case you should get the pizza.

I have only been to a zoo once, hopefully next time I go they will have Lories too.

@kamkam2828 Heh. They're not dumb birds, they realize that people=food for them. Not shy at all. (Although there is the risk of getting your hand bitten.) XD

@kamkam2828 Lots of zoos have exhibits where you can go in and feed the lorikeets. It's not an uncommon thing at all. But yes, it is very cool. =)
