@USAConservative2012 Although this a little late to respond, I would like to say that what other people say of the Latter Day Saint Church is not correct. If you truly want to understand if it is false doctrine, investigate. There is no other way. As for our works to save us, we cannot sit idly by expecting to be saved when we do nothing. We must work always to be the person we should be. Good luck and just know that you are loved.

@USAConservative2012 One more thing. If this church is a CULT, then why do we teach our members to do good for EVERYBODY that they meet? Why do we tell them that it is good to do service for others? Why is it that a good amount of what we teach is service to other people? Because they are Children of God Himself, also? I'm kind of lost. Could you please explain to me exactly HOW this church is a cult?

Maybe it's because I'm a "Mormon", but I didn't know that Christ wanted us to speak hateful words to other churches!!! o_o I've always been taught that just because another church is wrong, it doesn't mean we go and say "Your church is wrong and you're going to Hell for it!" I've been told to say kind words instead! But I guess that's just us sinful LDS for ya! :/

@USAConservative2012 Your church is also a CULT by definition :P You really must know the meaning of the words that you use. If you don't they can and will be used against you as I have. If you are going to use scriptures to support what your saying...please...read the whole chapter before you use them. Also, you obviously know little to nothing about the LDS church. We as a whole obey the commandments that are given to us in the bible more so then any other church in the World.

Um...To be quite honest, Your not making any sense. How can the church be "figuratively" be the body of Christ when in all reality the bible is saying something completely different from what your saying. He never implied that a church is "figuratively" his body. John 14 speaks that Jesus is the way, the truth, etc., to see him is to see God also, and speaks of 1st & 2nd Comforters. The first being Jesus himself and the 2nd being the Holy Ghost. You must read the entire Chapter to understand it.
