  • Nice to see a production machine in operation. I take several passes to rout a raised panel as demonstrated here. The operator is getting a workout as I was tired out for an hour after routing the same ogee profile on 2 12" x 35" panels for my latest cabinet.

  • Thanks for the comment, we will soon be switching over to a CNC router.

    No more workout for the operator, and higher production.

  • is it sanding it smooth?

  • No it is not , the cutters are carbide turning at 10,000 RPMs.

    Thay are sharp enough to leave it smooth with no sanding.

  • Nice shaper knives, I didnt see any burns in the panel raise cut.

  • Well, I am NOT using my shaper again until I get one of those power feeder gizmos!!!
