Join Us - Stomp Out Malaria

"Stomping Out Malaria in Africa" is an initiative of the Peace Corps that was launched on World Malaria Day (April 25, 2011) in partnership with the President's Malaria Initiative (USAID) and later Malaria No More. The "Stomp Out Malaria" initiative marks the first time in 50 years of Peace Corps history that the efforts of volunteers across a continent have been unified through a single goal: to end malaria. Through our specially trained volunteers and staff (dubbed the "Malaria Team" - featured throughout this video), 23 Peace Corps posts across Africa have been strengthening their malaria interventions, exchanging information and ideas with each other and malaria professionals around the world, and making huge strides as an international team towards malaria eradication.

We're excited, and we know that only by working together can we make a huge difference in the fight against malaria. Now it's time for you to join us. What will YOU do in 2012 to Stomp Out Malaria?
