Bashing at my back yard track with my Team Losi Aftershock. This truck rips! So far I have put on: Mach 427 motor, Hard Anodized HT Pipe, Hard Anodized skid plates, LST XXL, clutch, clutch bell, 2 speed transmission with spur gears, and fuel tank, 17mm hexes with wide dish wheels and Mulcher tires, Airtronics FSSH receiver and MX Sport radio. The only thing I have broken on this truck is joint pins on the drive shafts. This is attributed to the Mulcher tires and doing flat out accelerations on my lawn. It's all traction and something has to give. I have no clue how I have not broken any A-arms. This truck is tough!

  • Nice Aftershock ! Awesome vid !- 5*'s You should invest in some RPM A-arms !

What shock springs are those ?

  • I looked into the RPM arms because I broke my first one the day after I made this video. Expensive! The stockers are 10 bucks. It took 4 gallons and nothing short of this the driving in this video to get a break. The springs are stock, I sand blasted and then painted them Kubota Orange, the color of the tractor I used to make the track.

  • It takes alot to brake an rpm arm. you will be replacing the stock a-arms like 5-1

  • @warnher I actually upgraded my a-arms and drive shafts with the LST XXL arms. It's killer now.

  • Ya ive been meaning to get the kit but i keep buying other stuff instead *lol*

  • @warnher It's a solid setup, raced it the other day and it held up great! Much more reliable with the drive shafts captured in ball bearings. I was breaking them like crazy! Found out the Mach 427 is a total gas pig, six minutes on a 220cc fuel tank. That's horrible!

  • I actually painted my yellow 7.4lb springs red, but I have outerwears blue skull shock covers on mine.

  • Actually, they're not too bad if you got to rcslotdotcom(RCSlot) and check 'em out, that's where I got mine and it's definately worth it that's for sure....trust me ! I've still got the original set of A-arms form my

LST2 if your interested, just let me know and we can work something out....they're much better than the stock Aftershock

A-arms. That's cool, I definatly like the color orange that you chose to paint the original stock black 5.0lb springs !
