The first is "Pressure Cooker" where Gatemouth shows us how easy guitar playing is for him and the second song is "Up Jump The Devil" where Gatemouth proves he is the fastest fiddle player ever.! Please listen and pay your RESPECTS to a Master of R&B who lost his home to Katrina and then died shortly thereafter. RIP Gatemouth and thanks for leaving your SOULS music with us.! **See this interview**http://www.npr.org/templates/player/mediaPlayer.html?action=1&t=1&islist=false&id=4714586&m=4714587

  • what a shame more people don't know of this man's greatness. More music dripped off him without him trying when most musicians had to work years to attain..!

  • huge guitar blues fan here=) just discovred this guy! amazing! thanks again youtube related video list=)

  • Hi.. isn't he something? I wish the Biography Channel would do his life story. People will not believe that such talent was not rewarded more. People will keep discovering him and wonder the same for many decades.

  • I had the privilege to catch "Gatemouth" and his band live in NYC during the late 70's and he was a real down to earth gentleman with an amazing musical spirit...thanks for posting!!! Namaste...

  • F amazing ,, really thanks

  • I just this morning saw the Johnny Winter Guitar lesson video and he spoke very highly of Gate. There's a lot to Gate not many know. Check that video out. Gate's badder than I originally thought. Yeah, music drips off him indeed. Wish I had known of him earlier.

  • >A cosmic message from the stars!"

  • I love this man!!!! He was such a great player and human being. My favorite quote by him was "you have a brain use it". He was talking about doing what is natural to you as opposed to being a copy cat. Nobody can be you better than you. What a wonderful guitarist.

God bless his soul. It lives on with his great music.

  • capo-ed at C and playing in E?

  • World's most underrated blues musician. Gate didn't like people calling him "bluesman", so buddy, I will just call it the way you wanted: A lesson of American Music... Texas Style.

  • I've just seen this guy at night at show called Legends of Blues.. AMAZING!

  • A powerful team of fine musicians!
