Just to digress for a moment; once you have been exposed in an indiscretion(extra marital sex), the relationship changes. Even where there is forgiveness; neither forgets. I can almost bet that the physical part of their marriage changed and not for the better; even if there were no more outside activities. What do you guys think?

@letterbox3000 I agree that affairs definitely change the nature of the relationship. I think there is a trust that one can't get back when that happens. The significant other may forgive but having that trust broken has definitely got to sting a bit.

@Ehav4Ever I agree with you. You make good points, in this video. I blame both parties for the collapse of their marriage and here is why. Kobe met Vanessa Bryant as a video girl. 0_o red flag number one. Vanessa married one of the most successful basketball players of this generation. When it comes down to powerful men being loyal to their wives or cheating, they usually do the latter more than the former. Remember the rape accusations? Why didn't Vanessa end it there?

There are men who are so obsessed with their legacy in their chosen field that all else is secondary. The main purpose of their wives is to be trophies. When in public, they are merely assessories to the man and are expected to basically look good and defer. You might say that the relationship is more one of convenience rather than love. This is not communicated; it's just understood.
