The Difference: Barack Obama & Ron Paul

An attempted non-bias voting record comparison between two candidates, Barack Obama and Ron Paul.

Please note "oppose" is defined as: 'To take a stand against: buck, challenge, contest, dispute, resist'.

Also this is essentially bias towards Obama. He was not in the Senate to vote against the Iraq War. Sorry, I thought he had. Also he was not there to vote on the first Patriot Act, but he did vote for the 2nd.

Ron Paul is also for keeping the internet free. Freedom is popular after all! ;)

Say what you will, but Paul is the most blunt and true candidate in this election this year. He tells it like it is, and he knows EXACTLY what it's going to take to turn the economy around. The problem is nobody wants to actually do these things because they know he's serious about it, and a lot of things will change. Well, I'm sorry, I want a better future for my future children than the fairy tale shit fest we've got going right now.

Well of course it's not going to happen immediatly, he was just getting people to give him some support. It shouldn't matter what he promised as much as what he did. He DID pull troops out of Iraq, that's what matters. No... There wasn't any real military solution (there were negotiations but that's not military)

Obummer said he would withdraw troops from Iraq immediately, in his 2008 campaign and that there was no military solution in Iraq and there never was..(his words, his lies which a lot of people forget he said in time)

Sure, they may differ slightly on marginal issues like gay marriage and abortion. But, they are identical where it really counts for the average american: fiscal and monetary policy. Both parties are controlled by corporations and big money, and DO NOT HAVE YOUR BEST INTEREST IN MIND, unless you are wealthy elite...read a book
