An attempted non-bias voting record comparison between two candidates, Barack Obama and Ron Paul.
Please note "oppose" is defined as: 'To take a stand against: buck, challenge, contest, dispute, resist'.
Also this is essentially bias towards Obama. He was not in the Senate to vote against the Iraq War. Sorry, I thought he had. Also he was not there to vote on the first Patriot Act, but he did vote for the 2nd.
Ron Paul is also for keeping the internet free. Freedom is popular after all! ;)

The value of the dollar now compared to that of the year the federal reserve was invented is 4 percent of what it was. Would we really have gone into Iraq without unlimited funding, or for that matter vietnam, or korea? Every recession has ended with the same outcome, pump more and more of what caused the recession in the first place... increase of money supply, artificial fixed interest rates by the fed, and inflation.
Abolish the Federal Reserve? Are you serious? an institution that's been around since Alexander Hamilton, and now all of a sudden it needs to be abolished? What tonic are you people drinking!
And this "Capitalist propaganda called Global Warming"??? What type of conspiracy bullsh-t have you all been taking in! let me guess, ron paul told you.. disregard mountains of scientific data preached in schools and esteemed university across the globe... no Ron Paul must be right! jackasses...
Federal reserve was established in 1913. we have had 3 or four such systems in the history of the us. It is a terrible institution and should be abolished for forcing americans to use a fiat currency against our will. Gold standard all the way.
I stand corrected. But I was referring to Hamilton's 1791 First Bank of the United States, which went through several iterations throughout the course of this countries history.
Here's what gets me, fed, you call urself "federalist" but stand in the way of everything that true Federalists stood for (note: Hamilton wrote 51 of the 85 Federal Papers). The Federalists were propagating the idea that the states should be joined in a single Union (What the Constitution calls the United States)
Furthermore, with this Union came the call for certain Powers, of which creating its own currency being one of them.
Regardless, your argument against a "fiat" system is bunk. If you'd like to pay someone in gold, I'm sure they'd accept it. Go buy some gold with your dollars, ground it into dust, and see how far that takes you. btw, commodities are too volatile, hence the reason for the fiat system. i will say your argument interests me; such a strange thing to be hung up on.
I'm a Democratic Socialist and I like Ron Paul! He wants to destroy the corrupt private Federal Reserve; he wants to end the wars; he doesn't believe in the Capitalist propaganda called Global Warming; he's against abortion, the slaughter of innocence, which is neither right nor left, it's just wrong; he's opposed to the Capitalist obama; he's opposed to the corrupt stimulus that is neither free-market nor Socialist, and only supports the corporate elite...; RON PAUL IS AWESOME!!!
