Title: I Feel So Much Spring ("A New Brain"), 2011

Arr: New orchestration for 5 voices (Tracie Franklin, Trey Mitchell, Andrew J. Overcash, Chelsea Picken, Katherine Wright) & orchestra

A re-do from an earlier cabaret with Andrew, this expanded orchestration really added some spice to the already exquisite Finn masterwork. The original was very heartfelt and loved the simplistic arrangement, so I did my best to convey that same feeling for a larger ensemble. Zack's groove really brought a new flair to the piece that I wasn't expecting ... but absolutely loved! My favorite parts have to be the brass entrance at the beginning and the instrumental solos by Wojciech Milewsky, clarinet; Yuko Yamamura, french horn; and Daisuke Suzuki, violin during Tracie's solo. FANTASTIC! Now I can't get this out of my head!
