I've had this video sitting around for a while, and I thought some of you subscribers would like it. Please, don't get on my case for the video missing the intro of the song, it made getting the audio and video in sync MUCH easier by just cutting it down.
I recorded this while not listening to the game at all. This was recorded while listening to nothing but Fear of the Dark going through my iPod, and pad sounds from my IONs. I'm a little off-sync at the beginning but it's just me getting into tempo, I get into the song fairly quickly.
Also, these drum sounds were recorded using two cymbals hooked up to my IONs; one over my red and yellow pads triggering a crash sound (green) and one near my blue and green triggering as ride. (blue) The hi-hat sound was made by my standard yellow pad.
Watch for a Guitar Hero: Metallica vid coming soon! I'm trying to FC a few songs 1-footed on Expert+, first one I get will be my first vid!
I got rid of alot of my old vids since they flat-out sucked compared to my abilities today, keeping no more than my break of a million points and my two FCs, all three vids on PS2. Now I rock out on PS3 with both Rock Band 2 and Guitar Hero Metallica. After a little bit of time switching back and forth between discs, I really have to say that Rock Band 2 is more of my game. The Metallica game has some great track though, and it's been sitting in my PS3 now for a couple of days. I think I'm starting to get hooked back on it.
My setup has gone from a shitty Rock Band 1 EL set to few a decent Rock Band 2 sets, to now a set of ION drums, and I gotta say, I love them!
Currently I use an Omega Pedal for my kick. I haven't yet used it with the ION drums, but when I play Expert+ in Guitar Hero Metallica, I use a standard Rock Band 2 stock pedal on my left foot, hooked up with the PDP adapter.
I use a Dazzle to record my vids. Look it up on Google.
Also, be sure to check me out over at ScoreHero, on both the GH and RB sides! My name there is gdl176, just to match up with my PSN ID.

Enjoy the vid!

you can, go into the XMB and find one of your songs and pull it up. however, because of lag, it'll usually sound out of rhythm, which is why I dubbed the song back over instead of having it come thru the XMB.
