We were driving home from Halloween in Lawrence Kansas when we crossed paths with what we believe was a doe on eastbound I-70. It did a lot of damage to our car. We did an accident report, then believing our car was driveable we proceeded home. However, after passing the turnpike east gate, our car started revving uncontrollably. Another Kansas Highway Patrol officer helped us get a tow, and we were towed home. Later we surveyed the damage at the repair shop. Then, on the 20th of November, we got our repaired car back from Randy Reed. Many thanks to GEICO for the help. Also a big thank you to the Kansas Highway Patrol who helped us, especially the two officers who helped us on a very busy night where they were working an injury accident on the same Highway. I believe the first officer had to come from Topeka to help us.
