A very short video I put together demonstrating how generally spineless 21st Century "dissidents" are in the face of authority - especially compared with organizations that knew (and know!) what it means to actually fight for a cause. So here are two sound clips from two very different progressive organizations.
The first sound clip is from a Code Pink rally in Washington D.C. on Mother's Day 2009 against American militarism around the world. In the clip the demonstrators are literally pleading with the police to let one of their fellow activists go.
The second sound clip is an IRA marching song recorded at an unknown time but clearly embodying the fighting spirit and determination of the Irish Republican cause. Unlike Code Pink, the IRA does not plead and it makes no apology.
Listen to the sound clips and then ask yourself, putting everything else aside, just based on the sound clips which organization would you bet on to enact radical change?
What's the name of the IRA song actually ? Very catchy

hmmm...well if it's a "who's the biggest nut job" contest then code pink would win hands down, but I think the IRA would be pissed at losing anything to these slags and stomp their freakin' skulls in...lol
