That is true. Nazi Germany had high gun violence. So did the former soviet union and China. The governments of those counrties killed tons with their guns. That is but one reason to make sure it is not just cops who can own them. In the US these days ,bad cops are killing innocent people every day. We must protect ourselves.

I feel sorry for my brothers and sisters up in Canada.they cant have a handgun if they dont have a fellony arrest.i have see handguns up there and the gangs showed them off.the honest go unarmed and the convicts dont.honest guy or girl killed by a convicted fellon its the guns falt.not the person holding it.I have seen how the Brit.Police have faced men with guns and knifes with nothing is that fair.Most respect for the British Bobby sorry you have to go without guns against them.
