This video is a reworked version of: watch?v=meYCja1S5es
It has come to my attention that synaptics has been using a the cheaper die covered with a blob of epoxy which is fine but makes it slightly harder to ID the actual make and connection of the chip. Luckily the board that I have seen still looks the same and are able to work by matching similar points. Be aware that doing this is dangerous as you can not be too sure if its right. If I encounter this again, I will post a video outlining it. For now stick to the boards you can see an actual chip on..
Can I build one with a usb?

@master801 you can use a USB PS2 adapter. I dont know if newer laptops use USB versions. This hack was done in 2006 or 7 so I don't know what has changed since then
