A new project on Indiegogo aims to translate a canine's thoughts into human language.

While humans are pretty decent at reading their pooch's demeanor, what goes through a dog's mind is still a complete mystery. However that might be changing in the near future.

A new project on Indiegogo aims to translate a canine's thoughts into human language. Called 'No More Woof', the goal is to stop the guessing game pooch owners go through to find out what's wrong or what it is their pets want.

The minds behind the project stated "No More Woof is a small gadget that uses the latest technology in micro computing and EEG to analyze animal thought patterns and spell them out in Human Language using a loudspeaker."

The device is currently in the early stages, meaning no prototype has been made. Those who contribute monetary funds to the project are supporting the research aspect.

Nevertheless, it goes something like this. Once completed, the device will be placed over the animal's fur. EEG recorders will be hooked up to a small Raspberry Pi computer and speaker.

From there, an equipped brain-computer interface will detect, analyze and finally translate the dog's thoughts. What do you think of the 'No More Woof' idea?
