Tom Peters compares your shop to an NFL team or a Symphony Orchestra. They don't judge their talent with standardized forms, and neither should you. Get more ideas by Tom at www.tompeters.com.
Thank God there is someone else after-all besides myself that "Gets it"!!! I just came out of Hip Replacement Surgery 4 weeks ago and their "Cookie Cutter / Assembly Line" style of patient care did not work on me.
I tried to explain to them but they were so H___-Bent on their "SOP's" that it was like talking to a wall! "They" ended up apologizing to me in fear of a lawsuit. I tried to tell them that "I" don't fit their "Standardized" crap!
Thanks for your effort to get this truth "Out There"!
Very right but easier said than done. How do you do it for 200+ organization? You can start per position or level - then again people are still unique in themselves even if they belong to the same grade level.
I promise, I will not use a Standardized Form in my Life Coaching. It wouldn't work anyway. As you say. No one is the same.
And I love what you said about Teachers. That is so true.
