Tom Peters compares your shop to an NFL team or a Symphony Orchestra. They don't judge their talent with standardized forms, and neither should you. Get more ideas by Tom at www.tompeters.com.

  • I promise, I will not use a Standardized Form in my Life Coaching. It wouldn't work anyway. As you say. No one is the same.

And I love what you said about Teachers. That is so true.

  • Thank God there is someone else after-all besides myself that "Gets it"!!! I just came out of Hip Replacement Surgery 4 weeks ago and their "Cookie Cutter / Assembly Line" style of patient care did not work on me.

I tried to explain to them but they were so H___-Bent on their "SOP's" that it was like talking to a wall! "They" ended up apologizing to me in fear of a lawsuit. I tried to tell them that "I" don't fit their "Standardized" crap!

Thanks for your effort to get this truth "Out There"!

  • Very right but easier said than done. How do you do it for 200+ organization? You can start per position or level - then again people are still unique in themselves even if they belong to the same grade level.
