Why is the stupid Pope acting like Ireland is the only country with a pedophile clergy problem? What a lying piece of trash he is. He should know the problem has been worldwide for about 1700 yrs. And he has the nerve to act like a "few" bad priests are the problem.

Child abuse may bring down the church? Would'nt that be sweet! This is why MANY of the church officials become priests & nuns in the first place. Many are gay & child molestorrs to begin with. A great cover to molest 1,000's undetected for years! Some would give up a life for service to God - but few - not a whole church full of clergy. It has been a deceptive covr since the beginnig! Neverleave your children alone with any adult! They are your responsibility alone to protct them! CRIMINALS!

@debthebob: No he needs to be held accountable for the whole of the sec abuse scandal worldwide, because it was his office that oversaw the church response to the scandal and moved priests around to avoid public knowledge and prosecution.
