Jan August (real name, Jan Auggustoff was born 09-24-1904, New York City died 01-09-1976, New York City) was an American pianist and xylophonist that recorded many instrumental songs with a blend of classical styles, and Latin beats, with a touch of big-band, and jazz influence as well. Much of his earlier 78 rpm recordings are rather hard to find on today's digital audio formats.

Transferred to digital using stereo gear on background photo.

You are welcome! I would have loved to hear some of those radio shows of years past, and if this one is on CD somewhere, it would be great for today's listeners to hear it!! Thank you for checking out this 78 record...Friends, Lloyd.

  • Appreciate you posting this song. As a kid I hated when The Ernie Kovac show was over except for knowing I was going to get to hear this song..

  • Loved Ernie, loved this song! A comedian way ahead of his time. Thanx for the memory!
