0354 KRISHNA STORY -- STORY OF PARIJAT -- WAR BETWEEN INDRA AND KRISHNA

Satyabhama is blessed by the mother of Indra that she will never grow old and loose her beauty. They, after being blessed, return to Dwarika where they are greeted by Rukmani.

Naradji comes and tells Satyabhama that the Parijat flowers not only give happiness, prosperity, wealth but also give the long lived beauty. And the flowers were given to Rukmani and not Satyabhama. Hence, she was indirectly cheated. These thoughts of Naradji made Satyabhama upset and now she determines to speak to Krishna to get he tree of Parijat for herself and satisfy her ego.

Krishna comes to know about this and is upset. He wants to please her and hence asks her demand. In return, Satyabhama wants to get the tree of Parijat. Krishna decides to talk with Indra; and Naradji becoming the ambassador for him.

Naradji brings the news that the offer is refused by Indra and that he shall not give the tree. Krishna reacts by saying that he has to get it by fighting with Indra.

An intense war takes place between Indra and Krishna. Krishna is blessed by lord Shiva and then he wins and breaks the ego of Indra. Indra brings down the tree form his Dev lok to the humans of Pruthvi Lok.
