Yes, there are some differences in praying between male and female including the tiding the hands on chest for women and stomach for male and raising hands to shoulder for women and to earlopes for men when saying the takbir Allahu Akbar. If you are a new conver to Islam Masha Allah, you may be confused, but the Islam Ummah is so wide and you can get help in any time. Check out: (chatislam dot kom )and there are sisters to help you. i didn't know that men and women prayed the same. This is what i was told was different (for women):

-We only raise our hands to our shoulders when saying 'Allahu Akbar' at the start of prayer.

-We put our hands on our chest instead of our stomach area

-We keep our feet together when standing during prayer

-When we re sitting, we sit on our left hip with our legs on our right, sitting on our left leg slightly.

& more. Please help me anyone, i'm not sure if this is correct. i'm really confused
