  • @3KS26 Yeah lets sit back and wait. I think the Chinese wont do it but I may be wrong. Time will reveal the truth whether US went to moon or not. Im leaning towards the moon thing as a fake PR exercise to get people to have more faith in the US gov.

  • @daniel987878

And then they cut NASA's budget thus making it impossible. The one thing the Chinese have is cash and lots of it ; )

Anyways the Chinese already completed the first phase of their Moon mission, lets sit back and see what happens.

  • @3KS26Years ago the US gov said it would go to Mars by about 1990.

  • @daniel987878 Phase 1 - Orbital Mission (Reconnaissance of possible landing spots) Chang'e 1 - 2007 Chang'e 2 - 2010 Phase 2 - Soft lander rover (Observation of landing sites) Chang'e 3 - 2013 Chang'e 4 - 2013 Phase 3 - Automated sample return (Data and environmental collection / lunar launch) Chang'e 5 - 2017 Phase 4 - Manned landing 2025 They are doing it step by step and are working on the heavy payload rockets which take 7 or so years to build.
  • @3KS26 Governments are usually full of bullshit. It would likely just be a waste of time.

  • @daniel987878

Neither you or me are able to answer this question ; ) Why don't you conduct some research by writing a few emails to the Chinese space program and ask them why they aren't going to the moon. It could make an interesting project.
