  • in an MMA ring MMA would win, but you can't compare this to MMA... It is an ART<- AND a lifestyle! Not only explosively powerful but beautifully graceful. Any real martial artist knows that martial arts is for mastering ones self not dominating others. MMA is no joke, but there is no comparing the two as which is better.

  • can't help thinking tkd demonstration is so much cooler and worth learning even though the sparring is what's really useful....

  • It's just a business/sport/economy part of TKD that ruins the reputation of TKD. But TKD as an art can be very effective and respectable for their incredible kicks they can perform. This is one of reasons why I didn't learn TKD. I couldn't find good local TKD instructors who actually teach real TKD but I had a good Muay Thai instructor from Thailand who fought in Lumpinee stadium and only lives 3 miles away from my house. But TKD is a very respectable art that should not be looked down upon.

  • TKD has been proven somewhat effective. Of course, in a full contact competitions, it's still not a reliable stand-up art. But if your style is supplemented with TKD, then your kicks become extremely devastating and skilled. It's been proven in MMA. It's not a popular choice for MMA but it's still proven. Cung Le, Anthony Pettis, Ben Henderson, Cro Cop, Anderson Silva, David Louiseau have all proven TKD effective as they supplemented it into their style a lot.

  • Man, I love how many mma fans love to bash TKD. I train Muay Thai and never done TKD but I give respect to TKD(at least the real and true ones) practitioners. TaeKwonDo is a very unique art that has many various kicks, where some of them have been adopted and heavily used in MMA and K-1. If mastered and applied by second nature, then tkd kicks are very devastating and it compensates for your lack of arm reach as long as ur legs are capable of keeping ur opponent away.

  • Pure acrobatics and circus. After fight in the street and result is taekwondistas hospitalized. Taekwondo is only sport. No is martial art.

  • To me this is more what tdk is about then the sparring. I don't train tdk anymore, never was good at it, but to me the art part of tdk is just more fulfilling (and less dangerous) then the fighting part.

  • @ ParaTroll...Thanks a lot for the info my friend.....! I really appreciate the song as well as ur help for me...! Thanks....I was searching this song since long....Take care....

  • @SuperKingGUY the song that starts at around 50secs is from the opera Carmina Burana and the title is O Fortuna. As for the other ones, which are pretty cool, I have no idea.

  • @teddydevil3 Actually sparring is a sport like any other. What's useful is self-defence and avoiding a fight on the street. Korean Tigers demonstrate self-defence techniques for if you can't avoid a fight, and sparring for the competitive sport.

  • @vze21gwa Luckily, I've been training at Korean do jangs. ;)

  • What is the title of the song? The name of the song? Its great...i would like to knw it...thanks in advance..
