  • I find your video entertaining, yet it makes me sad. Everywhere we are watched and our personal information shared. Every American, for example has a file which can be called up on computer. Why not simply turn the cameras and spying devices around? Maybe in my dreams.

I'm not arguing, btw, I've already voted.

  • "Why not simply turn the cameras and spying devices around? Maybe in my dreams."

This is exactly what I propose, and thank you for joining this historic initative. Who will watch the watchers? Why everyone:-)

  • One risk might be that porn stars would get elected to posts in high office because that's what the voters want to see. ;-P

  • Yes this would be a good policy decision, basically grandfather the military out.

Got to be a long-term vision process plan otherwise people will resist radical change.

  • Well, it worked against political corruption over here in Illinois, TheModestAgnostic, rofl!!

  • Full spectrum goldfish bowl seems a bit OTT to me, but a virtual parliament (fully recorded & transcribed via a Skype-like bit of software) and distributed military I like. Perhaps nation states will be required to keep, say 5% of their military capability available at all times for World Peacekeeping duties?

I think wire tapping politicians at work is fine - I think there are audio tapes kept at the White House? - but outside work is too Big Brother for my liking.

  • Wanna see something bold I did? Check out my Halloween video, lol!

  • Yes we're all being checked on to a greater or lesser degree, but we must be bold nevertheless.

  • I'm with ya on that, I just think that the solution is the destruction of willful ignorance rather than monitoring a politician's every moment.

  • Do you know, holyjesus, that there is an owl hidden on the $1 bill, hidden so you need a magnifying glass to see it.

It is near the top, right numeral, hidden in the serif. It means:

"We are not caught in the web."

Yes, the rest of us, are indeed flies...

  • They wouldn't be, but it wouldn't go away. Wars are merely legalized crime paid for by the crooks with the most money, the corporations. No war is fought against the interest of those with money, and if nations can't fight the wars the crimes will simply evolve. Further, this would simply cause private armies to spring up, and the change would be at best a more chaotic system. Right now things seem to be moving towards if nothing else a fair deal of stability.

  • "The day there aren't detractors will be the day we live in utopia ... "

Holyjesus, you can forget utopia. A world where everyone is fed, clothed and can freely go about their business without the constant threat of being incinerated is what I'm shooting for.

Human beings that rape, murder and otherwise abuse their fellow human beings will always be with us, the trick is to prevent them from convincing anyone to join their "cause". That requires effort, hoping for the best won't do it.

  • When a non-politician detractor can constantly determine, record, and anticipate your whereabouts and activities, you are like a fly in a spiderweb. The day there aren't detractors will be the day we live in utopia, and the invasion of privacy will be unneeded anyway.
