  • Damn. This is so simple, you'd think it would be common sense, but I've never even heard of it before hearing about it in a string review. Thank you so much man.

  • this method works and its the one I use, but its VERY painful to do all the strings in one sitting.

  • Great Lesson ....Matt Bruck is a Genius ! I do it the same way.

  • MAKE SURE AND PULL THE STRING SIDE-WAYS ABOVE THE NUT ON THE 6th ('E') STRING - YOU WILL POP THE SIDE OF THE NUT RIGHT OFF - THEN YOU WILL HAVE TO GET SOME SUPER UBER ROMPER ROOM TECHIZODE LIKE ON THE VIDEO TO INSTALL AND FIT YOU A NEW NUT!

IF ANY STRECH ABOVE THE NUT CAUSE YOUR GUITAR TO GO OUT OF TUNE - SELL IT AND BUY AN OBOE!

  • the String Stretcha works the same as your method :) good video!

  • thanx for this vid dude. It helps alot.

  • when i bend my strings its not smooth, I tried streching them but its still not better, is this because of my guitar(Yamaha pacifica), or because I didn't strech my strings properly?

  • Wow, that was very helpful. I didnt think about stretching at the nut. Thanks for the upload man.

  • If there's too much stretch/slack they won't stay in tune. So stretch em!

  • @JayGreenly My nuts are just fine, thank you very much.
