G1 e-HOBBY Detritus (Desert Hound)

Detritus is a mercenary. To show this, the box has a Decepticon logo but his bio card has an Autobot logo. He made his accidental presence in a season 3 episode. In the G1 series, almost every episode had mistakes in it, like Sideswipe standing next to Megatron or characters fighting on the wrong side. Detritus was one of those unplanned characters. He was shown as a sand-colored Hound at the side of the Combaticons who was shooting at an Autobot base. Later on, they decided to use that to introduce a new character, Detritus. Some call him Desert Hound, but that's not his official name.
e-HOBBY decided to produce him as a figure. He's got a lot of sand texture on both the figure as the accessories. Even his rims has sand/dust on them. I left the stickers on the sheet because he already looks great without them. I also kept the missiles on the tree.
He looks good in glass cabinets or in his box.

I read somewhere that's he's a Junkion that seeks to overthrow Wreck-Gar. At least, that the Transformers wiki gist of it.

Detritus is quire rare nowadays. They did some good effort on the paint job.

Great review, pretty cool figure as well, but a the brown is a bit too light IMO. Still very cool tho. I have the Astrotrain they did, heaps better than the one in the DW re-issue.

Thnx. The e-HOBBY figures are great. I only have one. One problem with all Takara reissues is that they don't take any effort to actually fold the edges of the boxes. They are all rounded, looking horrible. All of my Encore boxes have that problem, except the recent Trailbreaker and Hoist. It seems that they acknowledged the issue and fixed it.
