Well hats off to you for admitting that you were wrong. Few ppl on YT possess the intellectual honesty & courage to do that.

Regarding Dio, all I want fans of the native line up to do is to give Dio his due & admit that he & Appice truly were Sab. A different incarnation, a more musical direction, but still sab. A band is only as good as their sound & everything changed back for the better when Dio joined. I only resent Oz for being unprofessional with his voice. He does emote well.

Regarding Dio's voice, though, that's pretty much a matter of taste. Dio never made me feel much besides respect for his range and projection. Bowie doesn't have the greatest voice but his emotional range puts him in a category all his own. Much like Ozzy.

Oh yeah, Dio's voice emoted every bit as well as Oz with a superior range+Projection+articulation+­Breath control+Diaphragmatic support+overall technique-again, you don't know shit.

Yes, that argument could be made-and shot down just as quickly. Dio brought the darkness back to Sab & any one song from H&H compared to the entire weight of the last two studio efforts they did before Ozzy left is proof positive. At the risk of sounding elitist, real sab fans know that only a change for the worse in a band's essential sound can kill their future efforts-not a line up change.

It is maddening in it's own hilarious sort of way. "Ozzy's band" LOL. More like Ozzy was good enough to be accepted into the band because they couldn't find anyone else! To his credit, Oz can sing/scream other ppl's lyrics with a lot of feeling (e.g. Sabotage) but there's something about a vocalist who waits until he's 39 years into his career to take a single voice lesson that just isn't right. Shit, Ozzy's band isn't Ozzy's band. Lyrics-Lemme & Daisely, Concepts-Bill Ward, Bullwhip-Sharon.
