I had 39 weeks of a great pregnany, no morning sickness, just some minor backaches. I went to all of my appointments and did all of the test and ultrasound. And because my first pregancy was an emergency, we did extra test with this one, and all the results came back normal. On feb 17, 2011, my baby was born beautiful and healthy & 2 days later she was irratable, wasn't eating, and turning blue. The hospital quickly called a helicopter for her to be flown @ a hospital with an nicu. Apperantly she had a heart defect that was undetected during the pregnancy. The right side of her heart never developed and the blood & oxygen wasn't getting to her lungs (hince., the blue color). She will need a series of open- heart surgeries. to be continued....
