It's done fully HAND PAINTED (brush) It's a custom color so it's a deep dark red color with a glossy coat on it the innerframe is metallic and all the gold lines are painted to..applied all the decals...pfff it was a hell of a job 123 decals that's not normal!! took me a whole day..NEVER do that again hehehe
but it pays off quiet happy about the kit despite the dust in the paint...

  • Sorry fior my bad english, Tamiya fine compound wasn't use simultaneously with finishing compound. I mean using fine compound then finishing compound.

  • Then I would start sanding parts carefully with 2000 grid sandpaper until the whole surface look evenly smooth.

Next, I use Tamiya fine compound and finishing compound simultaneously. Finally I use meguir's No.21 wax (normally used with my car) to finish the polishing processes.

These processes are time consuming but definitely make great mirror gloss finish.

  • Nice work but some area still look rough.

For mirror gloss finish with complete smooth surface , after applying decals I would do gloss top coating for 3 layers then let it dry for 48-72 hours.

  • Song?

  • it looks so plasticky imo. i'd still prefer a candy tone or metallic finish.

  • @fl1pme1ster beautiful kit, btw how did you apply the decals on the side of the leg boosters on the "stair-like" part, the area the curves upwards then to the side cause thats the only decal i actually messed up?

  • I'd have to say, the Sinanju is a Masterpiece...one of the greatest pieces of work in the entire Gundam series.

  • Hello friend, you painted all their kits with a brush? his work is wonderful, this perfect in every way like to have your skill, I have painted a Fazzi mg, but not got what I expected, but was rather good, congratulations for the work and collection.

  • Hey man which would you prefer? Sinanju+top coat or Sinanju titanium finish?
