  • Latin PupE, have you ever thought of doing a Sweet Polly Music video to the Beatles song "Help!"

  • No, but I was planning on doing an Underdog video to the song 'The Promise', by When in Rome.

  • I remember they did the exact same "record of a damsel in distress shouting 'help'" trick on an episode of "The Perils of Penelope Pitstop."

BTW, if they made this in the 1990s or 2000s, then Riff-Raff would probably be using CD players that would play CDs of Sweet Polly yelling "Help!" instead of records.

  • "When Polly's in trouble I am not slow! It's hip hip hip and awaaaay I go!!"

  • 0:30 Polly gets kidnapped then an arm appears out from the floor? that made no sense

  • I loved the part where he pounded his head in frustration.

  • I have one little criticism about this episode: if Riff-Raff's henchmen come in using a moving van, wouldn't it make sense if they dressed like moving men as they abduct Polly? I mean, it would definitely fool her...

  • Exactly! Simon Sinister is based on Lionel Barrymore. Sweet Polly is based on Chacter Marilyn Monroe.

  • Riff Raff's personality is based on the actor George Raft.

  • hey BoBo,,here come's Mr. Ranger!

  • Riff Raff needs a better laugh

  • yep.

  • I just googled When In Rome, and heard "The Promise". Turned it off after one second. Sorry, but I would rather see Sweet Polly and Underdog set to the harmonies of the Beatles or the 12 string Rickenbacker of Roger McGuinn (the Byrds), rather than hyperactive techno-rock garbage of the 80's or 90's. No disrecpt intended, but let's remember Underdog came out in the era of the Beatles, Byrds and British Invasion.

  • When in Rome? Never heard of them. As I'm 50years old, not only do I rmember watching Underdog when it first came out, but I grew up listening to the Beatles, the Stones, the Byrds and many other of the great groups of the 1960s.
