Park & Wreck Chair Karen Vippeman told city employee Joe Geissinger to "turn the camera off" for public comments at the April 4th Park & Wreck meeting.

Resident George Edwards, expecting the blackout, brought his camera and recorded the public comments the city doesn't want you to see.

At the March 14, 2011 Parks and Recreation Commission meeting, without discussion or agendizement, Chair Vipperman announced that Public Comments on matters not on the agenda had been moved from the beginning of meetings to the end of the meetings and would neither be videotaped nor broadcast.

  • Blagden, Edwardz and Lough are just upset because they don't have one more photo op on TV to spread lies and sensationalism so they can write stories on their rag websites. I notice the only people who want to get up and talk are these three nuts.

  • you got a ladies association not a parks and rec comittee

  • What a shame, someone missed their dance show! Awww, Boo Hoo!

  • You are going to have to black eye the council people and city attorney.
