I'm ain't Gonna give none of that Jelly Roll. - Dutch Swing College 1970
From the only surviving copy from a 1970 TV show we see a recreation of a tune as played in 1945 by the Dutch Swing College Band. Right after WWII clarinettist Peter Schilperoort and trumpetplayer Joost van Os started the band with an regular stint playing for the Canadian liberation troops at bases in the Netherlands.
Here in 1970 at the band's 25th anniverary Joost picked up his horn again and joined Peter with the regular rhythm group and trombonist Dickie Kaart coming in for the final few bars.
In the rhythm group I recognize Arie Ligthart guitar, Huub Janssen drums and I think Chris Smildiger bass. A seldom seen piece of Dutch Jazz history. 578

The title is "I Ain't Gonna Give Nobody None O'This Jelly Roll"
My dad had this by the DSC on a single. Fabulous.
Thanks for posting it.

Are you sure about the title? Have you ever heard the version by Sharky and His Knights of Dixieland, with Lizzie Miles doing the vocal in Cajun French and English? OH MY!
If you can find a copy, by all means latch on to one. You'll love it.
