@jman224333 lol not hp hp is a number people like to throw around jackwogen its a tork game when it comes to pulling thats y my 300 inline 6 4 speed granny gear f150 out pulls my friends 454 3500 auto he has hp out the ass but i beat his top tork at 1/2 throttle ez and i never clean out my bed so i got the wight + tork = TRACTION dont need hp need longer strok to get higher tork 300 inline has a 4 in bore 3.98 strok

@jman224333 I'm not going to put much thought into a response for you since you obviously don't know anything about pulling. It's not the horsepower, it's the torque. Most of all it's traction and if one truck is heavier than the other it's going to have more weight pushing on the tires thus giving it more traction. Traction=a win when pulling. My point is that the old Fords are built like tanks and pull like them too.

Old fords pull like tractors. The new truck had a lot of weight on the old one though. With the weight equal and the tires the same, the old one would win.

ok thats a stupid video i gurantee that old ford didnt have 4wd engaged cuz they never thow the front wheels during the tug and doing a tug on dirt only shows who spent more money on them tires id hook my 76 up t any new ford chevy or dodge gas trucks and yank the piss out of any of em and some diesels to
