  • This whole video - once shown (and thus recorded, by many) on terrestial T.V, was once also available here on YouTube. Alas now it's gone, replaced by 3 minutes ( as a taster) and a commercial presentation by Allegro Films.

They offer the whole thing on DVD for a 'mere' £25, along with other stuff from Nupen's 'back catalogue'.

I urge you to decline. The essence of You Tube is being compromised.

Ironically, Nupen's woefully wooden, contrived commentary is the films' one glaring weakness

  • Schubert one of my favorites ever-,what a great composer!

  • Lucky for Franz that Schumann was around! (20 years or so later.) And managed to collect scattered music sheets! (from his brother and friends.)

We have a similar case in the world of poetry. Emily Dickinson! (1200 poems found on scraps of paper in her bedroom after her death.)

  • Grazie! E' fantastico!
