Rutland, VT -- Vermont Republican Senate candidate Len Britton unleashes his 3rd campaign ad of the season kindly titled "Record Scratch". Britton smashes the imaginary fourth wall in grand fashion as the 30 second ad begins with the benign backdrop of a typical politician glad handing people in a country diner. Britton breaks character with a resounding record scratch midway through the spot to challenge Patrick Leahy on the condition of Vermont and the Country.
"I've had a lot of fun with these ads, but we have critical issues being neglected in Washington which impact Vermonters. 'Record Scratch' candidly addresses people's concern about a bloated and ineffectual government not listening to the citizens" according to Britton.
I love how there is a NEW YORK YANKEES flag, hanging in the room, in an advertisement for VERMONT SEN.

The unemployment rate in VT is currently 5.5%. Compared to the rest of the US, they're doing pretty well.

Man...I wish that the ads in the Illinois campaigns were as humerous and hard hitting as yours; I'm so sick of the mud slinging. I wish you the best of luck at tomorrow's election and for the future.

VT needs the Green Mountain boys to take it back. Len is a much needed voice. I hope on election day the people of VT decide they want to join the revolution at the ballot box.

Vermont used to be a conservative state. Then well organized special interest groups mainly in the cities changed things. But the people of Vermont, has never liked the idea of higher and higher taxes. It's almost eliminated IBM, no-one wants to come in to Vermont. This can be fixed. And you're the guy who can do it, Len. Thanks for doing this.

"You've got your guy (leahy)....I know we can do better". Who writes this stuff? I always laugh through my tears when I see your commercials. The metaphors you use and the unexpected turns your ads take continue to make me believe you can win. Continued good luck to you Mr. Britton, hopefully Washington is paying attention!
