I'm in between on this one. Even now that it's "true" (that's a stretch), people just need to READ THE AGREEMENTS THEY ARE AGREEING TO! The only new law that might be needed is one enforcing "plain English" on any legal documentation, especially User Agreements. "Legalese" can often be extremely difficult even for other attorneys to read! It has to be carefully deconstructed and deciphered to be sure of all the details.

I purchased Onstar because of the tracking feature.
I bought the Z71 Colorado for my 80 yo Mom, to replace her beloved 15yo Toyota Kingcab. Mom is a Master Naturalist and Botanist and she still goes into the woods. I got her the truck so she could just as long as she want to...in Safety.
The fact that it will call help if needed, has a single button call for Medical alerts and can locate and find her if she is in need, is the Reason I got it. I have no regrets at all, its an awesome service.
