Ashleys P.O.V.
When we pulled into the parking lot I gulped. This looked a lot harder than I thought it was going to be. This high school looked more like a college campus. A very rich, big, beautiful yet scary college campus. From what I could tell there were five buildings in a pentagon shape, and a HUGE courtyard in the middle with the most beautiful trees youve ever seen and glass tables and chairs.
"Its looks scary, but its really easy to navigate once you get the hang of everything." Nick said, clearly reading my facial expression. "Yeah." Was all I said.
Once we had parked and Miley was complaining to Nick about her History exam, I grabbed my shoulder bag and started walking. Where I was going? I had no idea. But Mileys constant talking was giving me a headache and I needed out. I had walked 5 steps when a hand grabbed my arm.
"Hey hey hey! Ashley where are you going?"
I shook my arm free from Nicks grip. "Dude, stop doing that." Nick blushed and pushed me the opposite way. "Come on, you have to sign into the main office. Its this way."
"HEY DICK!" A voice screamed. I looked over smiled. There was Taylor and about 3 other guys in a very pretty peridot colored Jeep. A girl with red hair was with them and laughing. The van pulled over right next to us and I saw Nick take a dangerous step forward. Taylor was smiling at me.
"Hey pretty lady. What are you doing with Beauty and the Beast?" He asked. "Corny, but cute." I said back.
Taylor hopped out of the car and wrapped his arm around my waist. "Nice outfit. Dressing nicely for me?"
"No, this was all the work of my fashionista roommate." I smiled. Nick pushed his way past me and stood in front of Taylor.
"Why dont you get lost Lautner?"
"Hey hey, man. You already have Miley, dont I get Ashley?"
And thats when Nick pushed him.
Immediately Taylors buddies launched themselves at Nick. I saw the red head girl look scared so I grabbed her and Miley and moved out of the way. "NICK!" Miley screamed. Nick was on the ground, but in seconds he had slammed one of the guys onto the concrete sidewalk and was wrestling the other. Taylor got prepared to punch him when two guys came out of no where and barreled into him. Nick slammed the other guy onto the concrete too and then stood up and brushed himself off. His lip was bleeding a little and he had a gash on his shoulder where his shirt had been ripped in the fight.
The two other guys stood up too and looked at Nick.
"Hey man, you okay?"
"Yeah Im fine, just bleeding a little." One of the guys laughed and slapped Nicks back. "Look dude, youre QB but those dudes could have messed you up." Nick smiled and shook his head.
"Nah. Taylor would have been a little trouble but those other guys are just hockey players. Easy win." I looked over. The red head girl was trembling and Miley was running to Nick. Nick held her close for a few seconds and Miley kissed his cheek a few times.
"Nick you know I hate when you get into fights!"
"Miles calm down. Were guys, its what we do."
I wrapped my arm around the red hair girls shoulders and led her away. Nick, Miley, and his two friends followed. I didnt look back.
