I noticed my MPG rise insanely fast as soon as I came off cruise mode to a stoplight. Whats up with that?
Also, is it a good idea to shift to D3 for high speed driving? will it destroy my engine? the fastest Ive gone with it in D3 was about 85. I oftentimes use D3 when I want the response and agility needed to pass cars.. or go really fast. haha

Test drove one today.
When I saw the 3D speedometer I was sold!

I read somewhere that you should turn it off when driving under 60mph, when trying to pass someone up, and when going uphill.. Just bought mine in June, still unsure how the best way to use it is. Is this good advice or no? Should I just leave it on at all times? It seems like there's more power when trying to pass someone up, but it may just be in my head. What do u think?

Good one. If you need more performance out of the car then yes you can turn it off. If your everyday driving is more of a MPG cost then keep it on. It doesn't hurt the vehicle either way. The first 10% & last 10% of the throttle is not adjusted when the ECON button is on. But when it is on it makes the AC unit to blow a little less cold & has the transmission advance in gears earlier to let the mechanics of the gears move the car forward more so than revving up the RPM’s & then shifting.

is there a downside to using the econ button? why not have it on all the time?

@oOlOMEGAlOo You can leave it on all the time if you like. The ECON button will make changes to the first 10% and last 10% of the throttle as well as the AC. The ECON button also makes the transmission shift earlier so that the gears of the car push it along instead of revving the motor up to get up to speed. Let me know if you have any other questions or if I need to get one cleaned up for you.
