Maxine Waters threatens to nationalize U.S. oil industries

US oil should be socialized. There should be a system whereby the people who live where oil is exploited would have a say on what the employees are salaried, where the proceeds go, what methods are used to drill for petroleum, etc. A citizens' committee would be more responsible about setting prices than Shell.
But Maxine Waters was just bluffing. She doesn't have the courage to actually propose petroleum nationalization. Just because VZ thought of it first doesn't mean the USA can't do it.

Dem CA Maxine Waters (ACORN supporter) displayed both her ignorance and their agenda.

What she meant was nationalize ala Socialist President Hugo Chavez' takeover of now state owned oil and gas company PDVSA.

What does Hugo Chavez have to do with all this circle?. U.S politicians (and idiots working on CNN) should learn a little more of Bolivarian Hugo Chavez before talking such nonsenses.

All she did here was confirm what I have known for years: the Democrats are really Socialists who want to socialize America like Cuba. This is no surprise here at all. Just once in a while, the Democrats will let slip what they REALLY believe and what they REALLY want to do -- like when Obama told Joe the Plumber he wants to "distribute the wealth".

The title on this is ridiculous It's clear Nationalizing was not her goal or purpose. SOCIALIZING America is her primary goal. Why didn't the media rip her a new one over this?
