@Blurr20011 ~ This is what I love about pricks like you. No history, no research and nothing to offer other than the usual tub thumping yank rhetoric. When you finally joined the war, you were spectacularly defeated in almost every engagement, the Japs were taking Islands from you at will and you were in full retreat from German forces. At this point, Rommel was on the run from the Desert Rats in Africa, Hitlers invasion plans were in tatters & the SAS were raiding behind Enemy lines with ease.

@RipCruncher1 Where were they in full retreat from the Germans when the US joined Britain? They didnt engage the Germans in specific battle for over another year after war was declared. Granted Kasserine was ugly but if was a wet behind the ears army fighting a battled tested force.
I have respect for all those that fought, I hope you do too.. It was a joint effort.
