Why does a Tylenol cost $35 in a US hospital?
-
wait in line until your next no buying your way to the top! if you are going to die and the medics know by looking at you you are first in line.
-
Exactly. The old adage is, "An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure."
In the US, there are still too many who die from causes that are treatable. Up to 45,000 each year.
So what are people fighting over? How much profit the H/C Insurance can be guaranteed. One side says, "Everyone has to pay a certain amount," and others say, "Let them make all they want. Govt off their backs. They can skin us alive, no problem."
Neither helps, really.

In Canada we have had healthcare for all....it works. If you have cancer you get treatment. It doesnt cost you a cent. If you cut your finger off and you need to go to the hospital you go and you do not pay a cent. You dont have to go bankrupt trying to heal yourself when you get sick all you worry about is getting better. Its not perfect but the rich get the same healthcare as the poor and everyone gets treatment when they get sick EVERYONE
