Hey Presentationskills1 Youre quite right but it was a workshop type session in a small Toastmasters Club, not a Hollywood production.
If you're going to pretend to be helping people with their presentations then dropping inane comments like yours hardly encourages people to give it a go. Instead I suggest you sharpen up your own advice about starting a speech which ain't that good I'm afraid.
