The latest VIA EPIA P710 board from VIA uses the new Pico-ITXe standard to mount with expansion I/O boards. Stackable embedded systems will never be the same.

  • A damn thats looking real nice :D

Cool an idee that i was talking a bout with a friend finaly some one makes it :D

  • Any x86 compatible OS's

  • I'm thinking about getting one of these to build into my car. I'm not familiar with VIA processors, what OS's do they support?

  • I have never seen someone with half a mustache before. I think I'd rather see an attractive woman doing VIA marketing anyway.

  • it can handle 2gb ram

as can the pico ITX 2.0

what i want to know is where i can buy one of these!

this is perfect for my wearable computer project

  • Nah, still just 1GHz (1.5 should be the absolute bare minimum, IMnsHO!;)... The thing I don't like about pico itx, as opposed to nano & mini, is that the add-on modules make it bigger, either in width or height, killing the original idea that you can make almost anything into a computer (small form factor). Not a true "ALL-in-one".... Not to mention the low power VS HIGH price! Not worth it, not yet, anyways.....
  • What's the specs on that thing? If it's 1.6ghz and could handle like 2gb of ram, I'd be sold!

  • love it!
