Get your facts man. Be objective for once otherwise i can see you are just jealous... New York is really old with too many bricked buildings. It's the culture of New York that makes it really stands out above the rest thus making it the "capital city of the world". But for skylines, no one can beat Hong Kong.. yes i'm feeling that, since i myself am a freak to the 80`s, it was in general an exceptional era, the reagan days were great in the U.S. no doubt, today is different as times change and eras go by naturally, but to me the U.S. has that magical potential to attract people and to be what no other nation on earth could ever come close to, that's why i love the U.S. of A so much.
