The reason they want to cut spending is so they can cut taxes for the wealthy.

Washington borrows from Social Security. How are they going to pay the I.O.U's? The answer is they won't. What they'll do is cut benefits so they can borrow more to pay for the tax cuts for the wealthy.

Washington is morally bankrupt and inhumane. "We the People" have become a thing of the past. The powers granted to the elected is no longer being used to benefit the People. The economic aristocrats now govern.
