Wisconsin gets revenge on the Spartans to return to the Rose Bowl for the second straight season and win the first B1G Title game. Montee Ball had 4 touchdowns (3 rushing, one receiving) and Russell Wilson had 3 TD passes to spark Wisconsin to the 42-39 victory. Isaiah Lewis had the key play to win the game for the Badgers, committing a Running into the Kicker penalty for an automatic first down. It was a tough way to end the careers for the Michigan State seniors, who played a hard-fought game to the last play. Kirk Cousins had 3 touchdown passes, and Leveon Bell had a rushing touchdown as well as Edwin Baker for the Spartans, but it is not enough as Wisconsin punches its ticket back to Pasadena to take on Pac-12 Champion Oregon in the Rose Bowl

  • SO......state shoulda won

  • @Juantonomobay yeah, I have to agree. Wisconsin could have won by more that just three as well. both teams played a great game. but based on the statistics, yes State should have one. But Wisconsin made plays when it needed to late in the game. Not to say MSU didn't make plays, but they didn't make enough of them.

  • Now Michigan state can see how it's like to loose on a bs play

  • @enverpasha55 we've executed the punt block all year. the block forces wiscy to leave more blockers back allowing keyshawn to work with less rushers.

and i'd have to disagree with your first statement. by rule, if a block causes contact with the kicker in any way, no penalty.

  • Bad call to go for the block punt? Yess!!! But that wasnot a penalty i mean his foot barely touched the punter as he was flying by him..... Like he can control his feet as he was going for the block. That was such a great game and for the refs to ruin it totally suxed

  • @checkkkkkittttt

I feel for you...but it was clearly a penatly. And why your coach called for a block is beyond me.

  • i like how MSU fans think their punter wouldn't have done the same thing........

  • @Juantonomobay Yeah, I agree, but it's not about who should won, or else Wisconsin would have won the first time.

  • Booked my flight today.

  • 3. Incidental contact with a kicker or holder is not a foul.

    4. The kicker’s protection under this rule ends (a)when he has had a

reasonable time to regain his balance(A.R. 9-1-16-IV); or (b)when he

carries the ball outside the tackle box (Rule 2-34) before kicking.

    5. When a defensive player’s contact against the kicker or holder is caused

by an opponent’s block (legal or illegal), there is no foul for running into

    or roughing.

  • @ajsfree yes,only a cheesehead couldn't see that!

  • @angusrocks6464 no,if you can't see that Lewis was pushed into the kicker, your cheesehead is stuck up your ass, and it will probably stay there!
