Dont Cry Little Fishy- my childrens bedtime song to sleep

This is the most fav song at betime for my kids. my original . I would be honored if you sang this to your children .

If you have trouble geting them to sleep do a real long version. If you need any help let me know.

probably heard somewhere in my childhood but this is my original. ( close to the traditional weah ho little fishy ) Sung to my kids one day as we walked on the beach and one of them was crying . All three kids .youngest in my kiddie backpack. Just started singing the tune. Story came later. When I had time I used to fish. I wanted to end the You tube version as a catch and release story. MOre politically correct.. LOL . Also would have tried to make it more finished but this is close to the orignal way the kids hear it except the story drags out abit to get the kids to wind down and the song goes as long as needed till they fall asleep which I am proud to say was allways succcessful. Then again my tunes are a bit mellow/boring.

FYI the song is called Manuels Love Song from the wonderful old B&W film called "Captains Courageous"...watch it and cry...a lot !

I have seen some feel free to reply.the idea here was to be repetitious and boring to promote sleep. My songs are a bit boring in a way.thnaks.

So you have me interested in singing kids to sleep with this medium since mine are grown up.Although now I am so interested in the music for me it is hard to make enough time for all.Seems there must be a whole genre out there.You have quite a song list.
