Violent Thunderstorm: Fireworks before the Fourth

This was filmed on July 2, 2008, and was the biggest and most violent storm that I've ever recorded. It only took this long to upload because of an insane amount of editing to synchronize the video and the sound. If you don't want to watch the whole thing, the best bolts are at 1:24, 1:59, 2:09, 2:58, 3:33, 4:23, and 5:04. Slow-mo's are at the end. Enjoy!

When I film a violent thunderstorm, I enjoy every second of it. What I did for this video was take the most violent section, isolate the lightning strikes with windows movie maker, and slow them way down for the frame-by-frame. Glad you enjoyed it!

Fairdinkum! absolutely Awesome!, If only i could team up with you. Here in Aus im like you, dont just watch a storm feel it too!. That was a very intense class 4 Thunder-cell, i bet you felt those amps!. Here in aus its the start of our storm season and i cant wait for the first Super-cell to make me feel new again. Yep im just a little eccentric!, but Awsome Video!

Good footage. But are you serious this is one the most violent storms you have ever recorded. I was born and raised in oklahoma and we get storms like this all of the time. Way more lightning wind and rain. This is a good storm but still small scale on a scale of violent storms.
