The beginning part of this episode is not too exciting; mostly just talk and announcements. This is more or less meant as a reminder of some things and a take on subjects that are rarely touched upon in commentaries (although I probably only mention one). The second part will have a lot more action in it; I guareentee that.

This is my first ever Let's Play, and the game I chose was System Shock 2. I've decided to do a Psi Only-Run, which means I cannot use any other weapon besides the Psi Amp. I can purchase upgrades other than Psi stuff, but I'm strictly limited to using the Psi Amp for self-defense. It's on Impossible difficulty, the hardest difficulty in the game.
Grab a drink and whatever you like to eat and enjoy an all-new episode!
In this episode I:
- Transfer SHODAN to the Rickenbacker; basically like giving candy to a baby only I'm giving the baby a military vessel full of nukes and vulcan guns probably
- Talk about a number of things, including the idea of long-term consequences, ship's scale, nostalgia and backtracking, and more
- Go on a killing rampage to eliminate more "children" and test out my new toys
Stats -
+5 Psionic Ability
+4 Strength
+4 Agility
+3 Cyber-Affinity
+4 Endurance
Psi -
Tier 1: Cryokinesis, Psychogenic Cyber Affinity, Psychogenic Agility
Tier 2: Adrenline Overproduction
Tier 4: Photonic Redirection, Cerebro-Energetic Extension
Tech -
+4 Hacking
+3 Research
I do not own System Shock 2. It is owned by Irrational Games and Looking Glass Studios. This video was made entirely for entertainment purposes only. Please support the official release.
Player and Commentator: Myself
@ShephardReborn I was thinking bout touching upon it more often later on because it does connect with other topics like his relationship to SHODAN and such.
And I use a Logitech headset microphone that my dad normally uses for the PS3. It's a much higher-quality micrphone than my previous two mics, with little-to-no background feedback and picks up my voice much more easily. And since I don't need to hold it like my karaoke mic, the chances of a "falling" or "sliding" sound is minimized.

@ShephardReborn You make a valid point my friend. I sometimes deliberately get detached from what's happening on-screen if there's nothing entirely great occuring. There wouldn't be much of a point in commenting on my "dodging abilities" when there's something else that needs elaboration. But I know what ya mean. I actually planned ahead for future episodes to discuss topics more related to where I'm at and such.

You should really go through that "Google's motivation" topic, in context of ordinary literature/movie/videogame hero it's really an unusual case. Another thing - What sort of headset you use to record this and how do you feel about quality of the integrated microphone - I'm planning to buy something to make my recording more convenient.

The blue annelid organ is quite useful for a non-psi character, I used it extensively during recording of Body of the Many level in Pacifist's Approach. Good episode Firon, actually good as always :-), it's good to see this series regularly improving. Really there's hardly anything to complain about, but if you ask for anything constructive - Well, it's just a little thing but I sometimes find you narration a bit 'detached' from what is actually happening on screen.
