A truly awesome experience, there is nothing quite like having sharks that weigh over 5,000 pounds slamming into your cage while you try to keep your feet and hands tucked in! We went great white shark cage diving on our 3rd day in Cape Town in Gansbaai...the "Great White Shark Capital of the World". The entire reason I wanted to go to the Cape Town area was for this shark dive - and I was very pleasantly surprised to find that the Western Cape was one of the highlights of our trip! Daily we drove to new parts of the cape and part of the thrill of the adventure and adrenaline rush was renting a car and getting to our end location every day on this portion of the trip - before dark...
